Wood-firing is the process in which wood is used as fuel to fire pottery kilns. These last few decades have seen a dramatic
increase in the number of potters firing with wood, because of its natural artistic appeal.
Geneva Art
Pottery has been
firing with wood since 1988. Built with thousands of high fire brick, the 50 foot Wood Firing
kiln has fired thousands
of wonderful pottery creations. The 20 year old Kiln is being rebuilt and revised, and will come alive again in 2009.
